การแข่งขันดนตรีรายการ Beethoven Competition ถือเป็นเวทีการแข่งขันความเป็นเลิศทางด้านดนตรีคลาสสิกในประเทศไทยที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี ซึ่งจะช่วยพัฒนาทักษะด้านการแสดงของนักดนตรีเยาวชนในประเทศไทย อีกทั้งยังยกระดับมาตรฐานทางดนตรีให้สูงยิ่งขึ้น รวมถึงเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้มีพรสวรรค์ด้านดนตรีได้ทำการแสดงต่อหน้าสาธารณชน
ในปีที่ผ่านมา ได้จัดการแข่งขันดนตรีเปียโน และขอแสดงความยินดีกับผู้ชนะเลิศอันดับที่หนึ่ง คือ น.ส. ฮัน นาห์ ซัน ในรุ่นอายุ 18-25 ปี และ ด.ช. กันต์ ไชยกิตติวัฒนา ในรุ่นอายุ 8-12 ปี โดยผู้ชนะทั้งสองคนนี้ได้รับเชิญไปแสดงคอนเสิร์ต ณ งานมหกรรมดนตรี Beethovenfest ที่เมืองบอนน์ ประเทศเยอรมนีในวันที่ 6 ตุลาคมศกนี้
ในปี พ.ศ. 2553 เราเริ่มค้นหานักดนตรีเครื่องสายเยาวชนที่มีความสามารถเพื่อเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันในครั้งที่สี่นี้ โดยจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 24 สิงหาคม ถึงวันที่ 12 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2553 ณ หอประชุม สถาบันเกอเธ่ฯ ประเทศไทย
The 4th Beethoven Competition in Thailand 2010 for Young String Players
The Beethoven Competition is an annual platform for music excellence in Thailand. It helps to develop the performing skills of musicians in Thailand, improves musical standards and identifies music talents for public performances.
Last year the competition was devoted to young pianists. We congratulate Han Nah Son and Gun Chaikittiwatana for receiving the first prize in their respective age groups. In addition, both talented musicians are invited to perform a concert at the Beethovenfest in Bonn, Germany, on October 6 this year.
For the year 2010 we are searching for young talented string players for of the fourth edition of this competition, which will take place between August 24 and September 12, 2010 in the Goethe-Institut Auditorium.
